School Reach Announcements
SCHOOL REACH MESSAGE BROADCAST May 25, 2010
Hello. This is Fr. Scott Jabo, President of Villa Maria Academy and Cathedral Preparatory School calling all Villa families regarding tuition bills for the 2010-2011 school year.
You may have noticed a lack of academic and performance based scholarships on your tuition bills. The renewable academic and performing arts scholarships have not yet been awarded for the upper-classmen. The awards will be distributed as soon as the student grades have been evaluated, which should be completed within the next few days. At that time you will receive a letter stating your award amount and instructing you to deduct the amount from your billing statement. The finance office will receive the same notification and will deduct the amount from your account and, if applicable, from your FACTS payments. You will not receive another tuition statement. If you have any questions, please call Mrs. Dawn Slokan at 814-838-2061, ext. 3226. Thank you and God bless.
SCHOOL REACH MESSAGE BROADCAST MAY 18, 2010
Hello. This is Fr. Scott Jabo, President of Villa Maria Academy and Cathedral Preparatory School calling all Prep and Villa students and families. The Cathedral Prep and Villa Maria cafeteria staffs would like to alert parents that all money owed by students for previous charges must paid by no later than Friday May 21st. The same is true for all other outstanding charges and money owed to either Prep or Villa for other reasons. Failure to submit payments will result in the holding of final grades for underclassmen and seniors who have not paid their charges will not be awarded their diplomas until payment is received.
The cafeteria has had multiple issues with charges not being paid back this school-year and, unfortunately, we will no longer be able to offer the same generosity we always have.
Beginning next year, students will now only be able to charge up to $5.00 in the cafeteria before they will be denied the daily special. A substitute lunch option can be provided on a case-by-case basis; however other students will simply need to pack their lunches.
We regret to have to take this step, and we thank you for your understanding.
If you have any questions about your son’s or daughter’s lunch account, please contact Mr. Frank Cirillo at 814-453-7737 ext. 2268
