With TURNITIN, students have the opportunity to submit their papers for any class online prior to submission to the teacher. The papers are then checked online to ensure all the criteria established by the teacher have been met for this paper and that there are no instances of accidental plagiarism. The student then has the opportunity to correct mistakes before submission to the teacher. In some classes, peer evaluations may even be done anonymously. Teachers, of course, will still do the grading.

Every teacher and each student will be able to utilize TURNITIN with their unique password similar to our SAT on line prep class.

The service will be beneficial to the students to ensure academic success with a pre-review of their papers and beneficial to the teachers by saving time.

Colleges and Universities, including Gannon, currently utilize this service.
