Sandra Herman
Ms. Herman is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo with a BS in Secondary Education-English, and earned a Master’s of Education in Guidance and Counseling at Edinboro University. Before coming to Villa in 1993, she was an English teacher at McDowell High School.

Jean Petersen
Ms. Petersen is a 1988 graduate of Villa Maria Academy and also a graduate of Gannon University. With a BS in Mental Health Counseling and a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology, she has worked as a mental health counselor at Hamot Behavioral Health, Sarah Reed Children’s Center, Abraxas, GECAC, and continues to work for the Tri-County Intermediate Unit.

Deb Seng
Ms. Seng holds a BS degree in Science from Widener College in Chester, PA and a Master’s of Education from Kutztown State College with a concentration in Secondary Guidance and Counseling. She previously taught science at Cathedral Prep and was a guidance counselor for Nativity BVM High School in Pottsville, PA. In 2007, she was named Counselor of the Year by the Pennsylvania Association of Catholic College Admissions Counselors.
