Aniko Walker
Mrs. Walker has a BA in English from Mercyhurst College, and has been teaching English at VMA since 1982. She previously taught at Cathedral Prep, where she also directed plays. She is Villa’s Student Council Moderator and runs the Leadership program, where VMA students present at state conferences and teach leadership skills to elementary students in the Erie area.

Lisa Chimenti Foster
With a BA in English Literature from Penn State-Behrend and an MA in English from Gannon University, Mrs. Chimenti-Foster has served as a teacher for the Gannon Young Writers’ Workshop. She has been a private tutor, an Assistant Director of Gannon’s Writing Center and a Graduate Teaching Assistant for Gannon’s English Department.

Sandra Hilliard
Mrs. Hilliard obtained a BA in English from Villa Maria College and a Teaching Certificate from Gannon University. She has taught in the City of Erie Schools and at Fort LeBoeuf. Currently, Mrs. Hilliard is enrolled at Gannon University and working toward a Master’s of Education in
Curriculum and Instruction. She has also taught third-grade religion classes at St. George.

Brian Check
Mr. Check earned a BS in Communications Media at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and is working towards a Master's degree in Secondary Education-English at Edinboro University. He also worked in radio broadcasting for seven years in the Warren area.
