Service Opportunities for Summer 2010

Downtown YMCA is looking for volunteers to help during the week of August 16th – August 20th. The YMCA will need volunteers to help clean, paint, and other miscellaneous maintenance in order to keep the YMCA in great shape.The YMCA will be closed that week and is looking for volunteers to come down at any time of the day or evening.

Keep in mind that all students at Villa are required to complete 25 community service hours each school year and this is a great opportunity to get a lot of those done before the end of summer.

Celebrate Erie needs volunteers. The dates of the festival are August 20-22 of 2010. Interested applicants can visit www.celebrateerie.com and click the applications tab to fill out the application for volunteering. Within the application sheet it lists the options of dates and times available for students to select from. Also, instructions for returning completed forms are included on the same form.
