Boys' Basketball

Boys' Basketball has grown at Villa Maria Academy. The program began in 1987 as a Junior varsity Program. Today, basketball team members compete in summer leagues, attend team camps, and undergo aerobic and plyometric training. The team also works with youth basketball at our Annual Boys Basketball Camp, held in Late July at the Villa Maria Center Gym 

This years'  Boys’ Varsity Team finished second in their region, and second in the District Ten Championships. The team advanced to the PIAA State Quarterfinals, where they lost a heartbreaker to Blairsville by a score of 38-37. This was the first boys team in Villa history to advance to the state playoffs!
