Message to Parents

Dear Parents of Villa Maria Academy Boarding Students:

Thank you so very much for considering Villa Maria Academy for your daughter’s home away from home and educational experience in the United States. It will be an honor and privilege to be working closely with your daughter.

International Students and the School Community:
One of our goals for your daughter is to look at ways that we can encourage interactions between international students and students and their families to enhance the sense of community at Villa. We organize monthly events where the whole school community at large: faculty, staff and day students are invited to participate. We also foster integration in class by having the international students work with fellow Americans.

Health and Wellness:
Our goal is to keep your daughter healthy during the school year. The Villa Maria Academy nurses are available to your daughter to talk about nutrition, sleep, and the importance of balancing academics with social and physical activities. Our Campus Ministry department is also available to ensure your daughter’s spiritual well-being.

Thanksgiving and Christmas Celebrations:
Thanksgiving and Christmas are traditional holidays during which families get together and share a gourmet meal. Your daughter will be part of these celebrations and will share in these special days and meals with their host family. It will be a wonderful linguistic, cultural and culinary experience for your daughter!
