Admissions Process
Admission to Villa Maria Academy is determined by:
- Completion of an application for admission
- Review of academic progress reports from 6th, 7th, and 8th grades
- Results of VMA's Entrance Exam
- Recommendations provided by junior high teachers and principal
- Student interview if necessary
Early Admissions Process
Students that submit Villa Maria's application and that take the entrance exam on Saturday, November 5, 2011 are eligible for early admission. These applicants will be notified of their acceptance to Villa Maria on December 16, 2011.
*The students who complete the early admission process will receive $100 off their 2011/2012 tuition if they submit their $100 deposit by January 24, 2011. * Late applicants are able to take the Entrance Exam on Saturday, January 28, 2012. These applicants will be notified of their acceptance on February 25, 2012.
Medaille Scholars
Villa Maria Academy recognizes special academic achievements by offering scholarship awards to students achieving exemplary scores on the Entrance Exam (top 10%) as well as a solid record of academic excellence in grade school which demonstrates the ability to handle Honors/AP level courses. The students qualifying for a Medaille Scholarship receive a renewable $2,000 scholarship to be applied to tuition payment upon enrollment.
