Curriculum & Academic Levels

Students are placed as freshmen into appropriate academic level course work based upon the students’ academic record, standardized test scores and upon the recommendation of elementary/middle schools’ faculty and principal. With our college prep curriculum and over 92% of our graduates going directly on to post secondary education, our Academic level meets the needs of students wishing for a college prep education. For those who desire an extra challenge, the Honors level classes meet these needs with higher level requirements and assignments. Villa also offers Advanced Placement classes. The College Board’s Advanced Placement Program enables students to pursue college-level studies while still in high school. Based on their performance on AP exams, students can earn credit or advanced placement in college.
